TECU Top Cover

Clutch and Related Components
Confirm clutch related parts are free from wear
Ensure the flywheel was resurfaced
Confirm there is no wear on the dowel pins
Lubricate the input shaft with dry graphite or a light coat of white lithium grease
Confirm there is no oil or grease on any of the friction surfaces
Driveline Components
Confirm u-joints are free from wear
Confirm carrier bearing is free from wear
Confirm yoke seal surface and splines are free from wear
Confirm ride height is set to manufacturer’s specification
Confirm driveline is in phase and is properly balanced
Confirm proper driveline angles
Power Take-Off (If Equipped)
Confirm proper and functional wiring and electrical connections
Inspect instruments, gauges and lights to ensure proper function
Confirm shift selector display is on and “CHECK TRANS” light is off
Confirm proper function of fluid temperature gauge
Power Take Off (PTO) if installed
Confirm proper installation – see Volvo’s PTO installation bulletin PV776-89169795
Transmission Heat Exchanger (if equipped)
Clean and flush cooler system
Complete pressure testing to confirm no leaks are present
